The Tone:
This is a full-time and part-time role at Chevron Stations Inc (CSI), located in Santa Clarita, CA. CSI operates retail stations where we sell gasoline and a variety of convenience products. The TL;DR
• Role: Retail Station Associate
• Type: Full-time & Part-time shifts available
• Location: Santa Clarita, CA (On-site)
• Pay: $19–$20 hourly
• Mission: Ensure an exceptional customer experience by maintaining station cleanliness, managing accurate sales transactions, and safely preparing food products.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Customer Service: Provide exceptional guest service by maintaining courteous contact, greeting all customers, making eye contact, and thanking them.
• Sales Operations: Accurately conduct all point-of-sale activities, including retail and fuel sales transactions, while managing the cash drawer and performing end-of-shift reconciliation.
• Station Maintenance: Perform consistent cleaning of indoor and outdoor facilities, including restrooms, islands, pumps, and car wash areas (if applicable).
• Food Service: Prepare food and hot beverage products, effectively manage ExtraMile and/or KKC foodservice to maximize sales, minimize loss, and ensure food safety hygiene.
• Inventory Management: Distribute delivered goods, cross-check prices for accuracy, and continuously ensure shelves and coolers are fully stocked with products.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Must be proficient in English to understand company policies, safety training, and job instructions, and to communicate effectively with customers and coworkers.
• Experience: Available to work a variety of hours, which may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, overnight shifts, and holidays, and possess required up-to-date food handling certificates in specific locations.
• Skills: Strong attention to detail, ability to handle challenging situations professionally and exercise exceptional judgment, and capability to work both independently and in team settings.
• Bonus: Cooking/Restaurant experience preferred.
