Get an Insider’s View of Startups — Without Quitting School or Your Job

Venture Starters is opening its Startup Intern Program for 2026, designed for individuals seeking genuine exposure to startups, founders, and investors.

This internship offers auto-acceptance and requires a minimal commitment of 16 total hours over 3–6 months. Participants also have the opportunity to secure a separate internship with a startup directly through the platform.

About Venture Starters

Venture Starters is a public service platform and a community within the startup ecosystem dedicated to supporting startups in solving global problems. We connect aspiring interns with startup founders.

Startups leverage Venture Starters’ Zoom meetings for investor exposure and, in some cases, to find interns. Approximately 20 startups pitch at each Zoom meeting.

Our primary goal for interns is to watch at least 8 Zoom meetings, learn, and identify startups that might interest you for a separate internship opportunity. Pure observation and learning are also highly valued.

What You’ll Gain

  • Auto-acceptance into the intern program.
  • A Certificate of Completion upon attending 8 Zoom meetings.
  • A recognized internship experience to add to your résumé and LinkedIn profile.
  • First-hand exposure to:
    • Startup founders pitching real companies.
    • Investors sharing their criteria and insights.
    • Early-stage teams forming in real time.
    • A front-row seat to the journey from ideas to funded startups.

Total Commitment

Attend 8 Zoom meetings × 2 hours each = 16 hours total.

About Venture Starters (Organization)

Venture Starters is a rapidly growing global startup community that hosts approximately 30 to 40 live Zoom pitch meetings annually.

  • 200+ people typically attend each Zoom meeting.
  • Each session brings together founders, investors, advisors, and future team members.
  • All “Free Pitch Zooms” are open to the public and free to attend.

Our mission is straightforward: to help founders overcome challenges and build teams capable of solving the world’s most significant problems.

Internship Role: Startup Intern (Remote)

This is a part-time, remote, non-paid internship with one simple core responsibility:

  • Attend eight (8) Venture Starters Free Pitch Zoom meetings.

Your role is to show up, observe, learn, and optionally engage with the community.

Program Timeline

  • Start: Early 2026
  • End: Upon attending 8 Zoom meetings (flexible timeline).
  • Flexibility: Attend meetings when it best fits your schedule.
  • Annual Availability: Choose from 30 to 40 Zoom meetings per year.

Upon completing all 8 sessions, you will receive your Certificate of Completion and may formally list Venture Starters as an internship on your résumé and LinkedIn.

Important Notes

  • You must attend Zooms specifically listed as “Free Pitch Zooms.”
  • Venture Starters also hosts paid member club events; do not register for member-only Zooms.
  • Each Zoom meeting is precisely 2 hours long.

Ideal Qualifications

  • Ability to attend a 2-hour Zoom session.
  • Strong interest in startups, entrepreneurship, or venture capital.
  • Comfortable working independently and remotely.
  • Experience with events or communities is a plus (though not required).

Why This Internship Is Different

We operate as a free public service platform and networking community, offering a unique opportunity to see:

  • What investors truly prioritize.
  • The critical importance of teams over mere ideas.
  • The practical process of how startups are actually built.
  • Startups actively seeking interns.

All of this invaluable insight is gained in just 16 hours.
