Social Media Design Intern
USANA Health Sciences is seeking a creative, motivated college student to join our team as a social media design intern for the summer. In this role, you will support USANA’s Opportunity Team to support the creation of social-first marketing assets. This internship will allow you to design content and assets kits that USANA Brand Partners can use and share to promote their individual businesses.
What You Will Do as a Social Media Design Intern
- Design Social Media Assets: Create graphics and content kits specifically for USANA Brand Partners to use across various social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook).
- Develop Platform-Specific Content: Tailor designs for optimal performance and user experience on different social media channels.
- Create Shareable Content Kits: Design comprehensive kits that are easy for Brand Partners to use, adapt, and distribute across diverse markets and audiences.
- Translate Creative Briefs: Convert marketing objectives and creative briefs into clear, effective, and visually appealing designs.
- Develop Variations and Templates: Produce multiple design variations and scalable templates suitable for different audiences and content formats.
- Ensure Brand Guideline Adherence: Maintain consistency and ensure all visual designs align with established USANA brand standards.
- Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with marketing and content teams to ensure designs meet campaign requirements and strategic goals.
- Prepare Final Files: Organize and finalize design files for easy distribution and cross-team usage.
What You Will Need
- Education: Currently pursuing a degree in graphic design, digital media, marketing, or a related field.
- Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing relevant digital design work.
- Design Software Proficiency: Demonstrated proficiency in industry-standard design tools such as Canva, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar software.
- Design Principles Understanding: A solid grasp of fundamental design principles including layout, typography, and visual hierarchy.
- Execution Ability: Capable of following directions and efficiently executing design tasks.
