What You’ll Actually Do
• Spiritual Alignment: Agree with and consistently abide by the principles outlined in FCA’s Christian Community Statement.
• Personal Devotion: Actively cultivate a spiritual rhythm that includes daily prayer and dedicated Bible study to discern the Lord’s will for FCA’s ministry.
• Ministry Leadership: Provide spiritual leadership and guidance to staff, volunteers, coaches, and athletes through prayer, Bible study, worship, and demonstrating a biblical example, equipping them to serve others effectively.
• Church Engagement: Connect with and regularly participate in a local church community through worship and consistent weekly involvement.
• Biblical Conduct: Maintain a personal conduct that consistently affirms biblical standards and aligns with FCA’s Christian beliefs, as detailed in the Christian Community Statement, at all times.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Collegiate volunteers, typically student-athletes, who are seeking to discern their calling and career path within ministry. This role is an early career developmental experience.
• Experience: No prior professional ministry experience is explicitly required, as this internship is designed to provide comprehensive learning and hands-on experience in ministry, typically over a summer or a semester.
• Skills: A demonstrated commitment to Christian beliefs and spiritual practices, including daily prayer and Bible study, along with the potential to provide spiritual leadership and live by biblical standards of conduct.
