What You’ll Actually Do
• Provide personalized 1-on-1 online instruction to middle school math students.
• Break down complex math topics using visual models, hands-on manipulatives, and real-world examples.
• Adapt instructional methods using concrete-pictorial-abstract progression and targeted scaffolding to meet individual learning needs and styles.
• Utilize AI-powered Tutor Copilot for real-time instructional support, lesson generation, and engagement features.
• Set your own flexible schedule and manage availability for both 1-on-1 and instant tutoring sessions.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Deep knowledge of core middle school math concepts including integers, fractions, decimals, percentages, ratios and proportions, order of operations, algebraic expressions, basic equations, geometry fundamentals, measurement, and data analysis for grades six through eight.
• Experience: Proficiency in teaching conceptual understanding and problem-solving through real-world contexts, guiding students through pre-algebra and geometry concepts.
• Skills: Strong communication skills, a friendly and engaging teaching style, and the capacity to adapt instruction to meet individual learning needs and styles.
• Bonus: Adept at identifying concepts students commonly struggle with and explaining material using multiple approaches to build confidence and foster mathematical maturity.
