What You’ll Actually Do
• Student Support: Provide personalized, one-on-one online instruction to individual students in Pre-Calculus.
• Conceptual Guidance: Explain advanced mathematical concepts clearly, including advanced functions, analytic geometry, vectors, matrices, sequences, series, and limits.
• Problem-Solving: Guide students through analyzing function composition, inverses, and transformations step-by-step, helping them graph complex functions and solve trigonometric equations.
• Curriculum Adaptation: Adapt instruction using graphing technology, visual representations, and scaffolded problems to bridge knowledge and prepare students for calculus or AP examinations.
• Immediate Assistance: Accept on-demand tutoring requests whenever available to provide instant assistance to students.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Deep knowledge of advanced functions (polynomial, rational, exponential, logarithmic, trigonometric), analytic geometry (conic sections, parametric, polar equations), vectors, matrices, sequences and series, and limits, with the ability to explain function behavior and prepare students for calculus concepts.
• Experience: Skilled at analyzing function composition, guiding students through complex graphing and problem-solving, and familiar with precalculus curricula and common student challenges.
• Skills: Strong communication skills and an engaging teaching style, ability to identify concepts students commonly struggle with, explain material using multiple approaches, and adapt instruction to meet individual learning needs.
