About the Internship: Operations & Data Quality Improvement Intern
Join our team as an Operations & Data Quality Improvement Intern and play a pivotal role in enhancing the backbone of our VCM (Value Chain Management) operations. This project-focused internship offers a unique opportunity to apply your analytical and organizational skills to real-world challenges, contributing directly to the quality, consistency, and usability of critical organizational documents and data sources.
Project Overview: Enhancing VCM Documentation & Data
The intern will be instrumental in improving the quality, consistency, and usability of key VCM documents and data sources. This includes vital assets such as Product Strategy documents, Product Health reports, and various launch-related trackers. Your work will directly support three core objectives:
- Improving Data Quality and Usability: Identify and rectify data discrepancies, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
- Digitizing and Standardizing Trackers: Transform existing trackers into standardized digital formats for greater efficiency and consistency.
- Developing a Guide for Maintaining Consistent Documentation: Create a robust framework and guidelines to ensure long-term documentation integrity and standardization.
Required Skills
We are seeking a highly motivated individual with a strong foundation in data analysis and organizational excellence:
- Exceptional Attention to Detail: Proven ability to identify data discrepancies, gaps, and opportunities for process enhancement.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Particularly skilled in Excel (including pivot tables, lookups, and foundational modeling) and PowerPoint, facilitating clear and effective communication of analytical insights.
- Data Analysis Acumen: Skilled in analyzing both structured and unstructured datasets to discern trends, synthesize findings, and provide actionable recommendations.
- Strong Organizational Capabilities: Adept at managing multiple priorities while ensuring meticulous and accurate recordkeeping.
- Effective Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with cross-functional teams across Supply Chain, Commercial, and Technical Operations.
- Relevant Academic Background/Interest: Demonstrated academic background or genuine interest in operations, supply chain management, or data analytics.
- Process Adherence & Document Control: Proficient in adhering to standard operating procedures and maintaining rigorous document version control.
Desired Skills
Candidates possessing the following skills or experiences will be highly valued:
- Operational/Supply Chain Experience: Experience supporting operational or supply chain processes through coursework, internships, campus programs, or project work.
- Product Lifecycle Familiarity: Familiarity with product lifecycle, launch readiness, or operations planning concepts.
- Data Management Tools: Experience with data cleaning, data validation, or standardization using Excel, Power BI, or similar tools.
- Collaboration Platforms: Exposure to collaboration platforms (SharePoint, Teams) or digital workflow tools.
- Supply Chain Fundamentals: Basic understanding of supply chain fundamentals such as demand planning, manufacturing, or logistics.
- Template/Dashboard Building: Experience building templates, trackers, or dashboards for operational or academic projects.
- Information Organization: Comfort working with semi-structured information and organizing it into consistent formats.
- Process Improvement Mindset: Curiosity for process improvement, operational excellence, and identifying ways to streamline workflows.
Qualifications/Eligibility
- Academic Enrollment: Student pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Availability: Must be available to work full time, 40 hours a week.
- Student Status: Must be currently enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited U.S. based university or college and enrolled in the fall term after the completion of the internship, OR have graduated within 1 year of the start of the program.
- Work Location: Must be able to work at the designated site for the duration of the internship for on-site or hybrid roles.

Salary Range: In the U.S., the salary range for this position is $24 to $32 per hour, which factors in various geographic regions. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
