What You’ll Actually Do
• Lead Development: Lead the design, development, and maintenance of complex software applications and services, ensuring high quality and adherence to best practices.
• Shape Architecture: Contribute to architectural discussions and decisions, helping to shape the future of the technical stack and infrastructure.
• Mentor Engineers: Mentor and guide junior and mid-level software engineers, fostering their professional growth and technical skills.
• Collaborate and Deliver: Collaborate closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and other engineering teams to define requirements, estimate tasks, and deliver features on time.
• Optimize Systems: Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems to optimize performance, enhance reliability, and resolve production issues.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, with a deep understanding of data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, and software design patterns.
• Experience: 5+ years of progressive professional experience in software development, including proven experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Skills: Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (Java, Python, C#, Go, or TypeScript/JavaScript), extensive experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases, solid understanding of microservices architecture, RESTful API design, asynchronous programming, CI/CD pipelines, and version control systems (Git). Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills are also required.
• Bonus: Experience with front-end frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js), familiarity with agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban), experience with messaging queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS), knowledge of testing frameworks and strategies, prior experience in a startup or growth-stage company, or contributions to open-source projects.
