Accounts Payable Clerk | Knighted

The Tone:
This is a part-time role at Knighted, located in Dallas, TX. Knighted is a growing investment organization, a leader in Third-Party Player Proposition Services for California cardrooms, and expanding into new entertainment markets. This role supports the company’s financial operations by ensuring accurate and timely processing of accounts payable for multiple entities, contributing directly to the strategic business development goals of the organization.

• Team: Accounts Payable team, reporting to the Accounts Payable Supervisor
• Mission: Manage accounts payable functions for multiple entertainment entities to support strategic business development.
• Tech Stack: NetSuite, Excel

What You’ll Actually Do
• Invoice Processing: Ensure appropriate coding, documentation, and authorization of invoices, expense reports, and payments prior to processing.
• Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve any discrepancies or variances with vendors or internal stakeholders.
• Record Management: Monitor and maintain accurate vendor files, payment histories, and supporting documentation for tax and regulatory compliance.
• Expense Analysis: Analyze expense reports and other invoices to confirm accuracy and eligibility for payment.
• Month-End Support: Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure accurate accruals, month-end closing, and related financial reporting.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Early Career professional with a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, or equivalent experience in accounts payable.
• Experience: At least 1 year in an accounts payable or related accounting position, with required working knowledge of NetSuite.
• Skills: Proficiency in Excel (including pivot tables, v-lookups, and other key analytical techniques), excellent written and verbal communication, strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to quickly learn and execute processes.
• Bonus: Experience working with multiple legal entities and locations, ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines, and a positive, highly adaptable, collaborative approach.
