What You’ll Actually Do
• Design: Develop design and construction work packages for electrical overhead and underground distribution systems operating from 4kV through 138kV.
• Analysis: Perform engineering calculations including structural analysis for wood pole loading, guying, conductor sags and tensions, and voltage drop and flicker.
• Permitting: Develop permitting documents required by various authorities having jurisdiction for distribution projects.
• Support: Provide engineering support during construction and conduct post-construction reviews to ensure compliance with standards.
• Mitigation: Conduct root cause analysis of outages and implement mitigation strategies using engineering principles and design.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor of Science in an Engineering discipline (electrical, mechanical, or civil). Early Career.
• Experience: 0-1 years of experience in an engineering role.
• Skills: Proficiency in MS Office applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook, coupled with strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
