Planning & Allocation Intern | HUGO BOSS

• Mission: Support retail analysis, supply chain management, merchandise assortment, sales forecasting, and store allocations to optimize product flow and performance.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Reporting: Assist in developing annual and monthly sales, margin, returns, markdowns, and inventory reports and plans for both Fashion and Basic businesses.
• Analytics: Provide data-driven analytics to support merchandise assortment decisions, SKU performance evaluation, and depth analysis.
• Distribution: Distribute merchandise to stores at style, color, size, fit, and price levels based on business trends, analytical reports, and management objectives.
• Performance Review: Prepare, recommend, and communicate weekly product performance insights from BIS merchandise selling reports to identify business shifts and react accordingly, presenting key findings to management.
• Collaboration: Collaborate daily with other teams including Buyers, Wholesale, Distribution Center personnel, and Retail Store Managers to conduct shared responsibilities.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree in progress; must be a rising Junior or Senior at a local college/university.
• Experience: Proficiency with MS Office, particularly strong Excel skills, and a demonstrated interest in the fashion industry.
• Skills: Strong analytical and numerical capabilities, effective problem-solving skills, detail-oriented approach, and the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
• Bonus: Eligibility for school credit, with the potential for extending the internship from Spring into Summer.
