The TL;DR

• Type: Full-time, Monday to Friday 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
• Location: Quantico, VA

• Mission: To ensure the cleanliness and smooth operation of facilities at FBI Quantico through dedicated custodial services.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Daily Planning: Begin your shift by coordinating with your supervisor and teammates to review the day’s cleaning plan and specific responsibilities.
• Preparation: Gather and load all necessary cleaning equipment and supplies, such as mops, brooms, vacuums, disinfectants, and fresh trash bags.
• Facility Cleaning: Perform comprehensive cleaning duties across assigned areas, including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors, emptying trash, and replacing liners.
• Sanitation and Detailing: Thoroughly clean and sanitize restrooms, replenish supplies, dust furniture and vents, and wipe down surfaces including tables, chairs, doors, windows, and mirrors.
• End-of-Shift Procedures: Conduct a final inspection of cleaned areas to ensure tidiness and then return all tools and supplies to their designated storage, preparing for the next day.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-level role open to applicants with no prior experience in custodial work, as comprehensive training is provided; eligible applicants for the AbilityOne Program are especially encouraged to apply.
• Experience: No specific prior experience is required, demonstrating a willingness to learn new tasks and apply best efforts is key.
• Skills: Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with teammates and supervisors; a friendly, positive, and focused attitude towards assigned duties; possession of a valid RealID; ability to successfully obtain and maintain government base access at FBI Quantico, VA.
