Registered Nurse (RN) – Behavioral Health | Pembroke Hospital
The Tone:
This is a full-time and part-time day shift role at Pembroke Hospital, located in Pembroke, MA. Pembroke Hospital is a 120-bed acute care, inpatient behavioral health facility dedicated to providing inpatient and partial hospitalization treatment to teens, adults, and older adults. The Registered Nurse is a crucial part of the multidisciplinary team, deeply listening to and understanding each patient’s story to assess, stabilize, and treat individuals, making a meaningful difference in their lives.
The TL;DR
• Role: Full Time, Part Time
• Type: Day shift (7am-3pm), 40, 32, or 24 hours/week
• Location: Pembroke, MA (On-site)
• Team: Multidisciplinary treatment team
• Mission: This role is dedicated to assessing, stabilizing, and treating patients by addressing their primary symptoms and problems to make a meaningful difference in their lives.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Patient Safety: Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment for all patients.
• Patient Assessment: Consistently identify and address patient needs.
• Care Delivery: Provide comprehensive general and psychiatric patient care.
• Intervention Evaluation: Evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and adjust care plans as necessary.
• Documentation & Communication: Document and communicate any unusual changes in client behaviors promptly and accurately.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Current MA RN License, or eligible to receive or renew. This role is open to both experienced professionals and new graduates.
• Experience: No specific years of experience are required, as new graduates are welcome. Training will be provided to work with culturally and generationally diverse populations.
• Skills: Psychiatric group processes, age-specific care, trauma-informed care, therapeutic boundaries, crisis intervention techniques.
