About the Role
United Community is actively seeking a dedicated Teller I to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for managing a diverse range of financial transactions and delivering exceptional service to our valued customers. Your commitment to outstanding assistance will be demonstrated through answering inquiries, addressing banking needs, and proactively identifying opportunities to introduce new or enhanced UCB products and services.
Core responsibilities encompass ensuring the accurate and timely processing of transactions, safeguarding both bank and customer assets by strictly adhering to established procedures, and cultivating robust customer relationships through unparalleled service.
Key Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Identify customer needs and effectively refer them to appropriate banking services.
- Provide exceptional customer service at all times.
- Maintain a balanced cash drawer with precision.
- Adhere strictly to all banking regulations and security procedures.
Qualifications and Requirements
- 1+ years of experience in a cash handling and/or customer service role.
- Strong attention to detail and proven ability to multitask effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written interpersonal communication skills.
- Must be able to successfully pass a criminal background and credit check.
