Covered Care is a buy now, pay later financing solution designed for growing healthcare practices.

We are seeking a highly motivated intern to join our dynamic team for a comprehensive summer rotational program. This unique opportunity will allow you to interact with all core facets of our business, including data analysis, credit underwriting, finance, and business development, providing invaluable hands-on experience in a fast-paced fintech environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Analyze early delinquent accounts to identify trends and help improve credit underwriting models and processes.
• Build risk analytics dashboards to continuously evaluate the performance and health of our financing program.
• Perform competitive research on the evolving business landscape to inform and further our business development efforts.
• Identify potential cost efficiencies and operational improvements to enhance the overall profitability of the business.
• Interact directly with our healthcare practice partners to gather feedback and understand their needs, contributing to the improvement of our product offering.

Qualifications & Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, SQL, and VBA are preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, are required.

Education & Experience

• Currently a rising undergraduate junior or senior.
• Majoring in Accounting, Finance, Data Analytics, or Business.

Compensation

The starting pay rate for this internship is $18.00 per hour.

The exact starting compensation offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire. This determination will be dependent on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to geographic location, skill set, relevant experience, educational background, credentials, and licensure when applicable.
