Role Summary

Amentum is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Junior Analyst to join their team. This part-time position involves critical data verification, analysis, and case file enhancement to support investigative efforts under the DHS contract. The ideal candidate will have strong administrative experience and an ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and quality control.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform preliminary verification of Case File data to ensure foundational information is accurate prior to the investigative phase.
  • Execute data extractions and download intelligence products from the NISOS Ascend platform for comparative analysis.
  • Conduct detailed gap analysis by comparing internal ICE-provided data against NISOS investigative results to identify discrepancies or corroborating evidence.
  • Enhance case files with critical context and evidentiary documentation, including residential verifications (photographs/utility bills), official vital records (death certificates/court filings), and employment history.
  • Perform self-directed quality control checks using standardized checklists to ensure all findings are substantiated by credible, relevant documentation.
  • Package and submit completed Case Files with comprehensive item results to Mid-Level Analysts for secondary review and processing.

Requirements

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DHS Public Trust clearance is mandatory.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 4-5 years of administrative-related experience.
  • Must have a stable internet connection to perform job duties effectively.

Compensation Details

The compensation for this position is $28.83 per hour. This rate is a good-faith estimate and actual compensation may vary based on factors such as job responsibilities, education, experience, skills, internal equity, market data, applicable collective bargaining agreements, and relevant laws.
