The TL;DR

• Mission: Identify trends, provide accurate and relevant data insights, and deliver data products in a timely manner to inform T-Mobile’s business strategies and improve data quality management processes across the organization.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Requirement Translation: Analyze business needs and translate them into data requirements, including reports and visualizations.
• Data Interpretation: Interpret complex data sets to identify trends that will inform T-Mobile’s business strategies.
• Data Preparation: Collaborate with business subject matter experts and data professionals to define critical data elements and prepare data for analysis.
• Quality Assurance: Perform data profiling and monitor data quality, supporting remediation efforts with data stewards and quality leads.
• Project Delivery: Partner with product owners and agile teams to ensure the timely and quality delivery of data-related projects.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s or Graduate Degree, actively enrolled in a program or graduated within the last year, with an expected graduation between December 2026 and June 2027.
• Experience: Practical experience working with relational databases using SQL for data querying, cleaning, and wrangling, especially within big data environments like Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud.
• Skills: Knowledge of relational databases and data architecture (including SQL), data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau), strong analytical and critical-thinking skills, and excellent communication abilities.
• Bonus: Experience of 2-4 years in areas such as identifying, querying, cleaning, and wrangling data in big data environments (on-premise and cloud like Azure, AWS, Google Cloud); articulating business questions into data-driven answers using statistical techniques; effectively presenting technical concepts to diverse audiences; and familiarity with big data architecture and pipelines such as Hadoop, Hive, Spark, and Kafka.
