Behavioral Interventionist | Cortica

The Tone:
This is a part-time role at Cortica, located in Glendale, CA, where you will provide direct, life-changing care. Cortica designs and delivers specialized care for children with neurodevelopmental differences, focusing on a strength-based, neurodiversity-affirming approach. As a Behavioral Interventionist, you will be instrumental in implementing positive behavior strategies that help children build unique abilities and thrive in their home, school, and community environments. The TL;DR
• Role: Part Time

• Location: Glendale, CA (On-site)
• Pay: $20.87–$28 hourly
• Team: Collaborates with Lead BTs, ABA Assistant Supervisors, ABA Supervisors, BCBAs, and other therapy and medical experts.
• Mission: Implement positive behavior strategies and evidence-based practices to create meaningful progress for children with neurodevelopmental differences.
• Tech Stack: EMR systems, Microsoft Office tools

What You’ll Actually Do
• Provide: Deliver 1:1 and group behavior-analytic services to children with autism and other neurodevelopmental differences.
• Implement: Execute positive behavior strategies developed in collaboration with your BCBA supervisor.
• Utilize: Apply evidence-based practices to ensure meaningful progress and positive outcomes for families.
• Document: Record detailed session data to accurately track progress and support treatment goals.
• Collaborate: Work closely with families and supervisors to cultivate supportive environments for each child.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Early career professional with a high school diploma or equivalent, or a bachelor’s or master’s degree, with a foundational interest in working with children.
• Experience: Prior experience working with children is required; no specific years are mentioned.
• Skills: Ability to consistently travel between client sites within a 30–40-minute radius using reliable transportation, tech-savvy with EMR systems and Microsoft Office tools, and a willingness to obtain BCAT credential within 90 days (training provided).
• Bonus: Experience specifically working with children who have autism.
