Training Operations Intern | i2G Systems
The Tone:
This is an internship at i2G Systems, located in Sterling, VA with a hybrid work model. i2G Systems is a growing provider of advanced electronic security integration solutions for complex and high-value facilities like data centers, healthcare environments, and higher education institutions. Our teams design, install, integrate, and maintain cutting-edge security technologies that protect people, assets, and data. This role is crucial for supporting the Training Department in a scaling organization, helping to build and scale systems that enhance technician readiness, standards understanding, and execution consistency.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Standardize Training Materials: Organize and standardize training materials across various platforms, including Learning Management Systems, shared drives, and reference documents.
• Administer Learning Systems: Support administration and ensure data hygiene within Learning Management Systems like LearningPool and JJ Keller.
• Track Training Progress: Help monitor and record training completion, certifications, and assessment results for technicians.
• Prepare Training Logistics: Assist with the preparation of training schedules, agendas, and related communications.
• Document Processes: Document process workflows concerning training intake, execution, and follow-up procedures.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently pursuing or recently completed coursework in Business Operations, Organizational Development, Education/Training, Industrial Technology, Project Management, or a related field.
• Experience: No prior professional experience is required; however, comfort working with spreadsheets, documents, and learning systems is essential.
• Skills: Strong organizational and documentation skills; clear written and verbal communication; ability to work independently; and an interest in systems, process improvement, and workforce development.
• Bonus: Exposure to technical, construction, or operations environments is a plus.
