AI Trainer – Junior Linguist | Mindrift

The Tone:
This is a contract role at Mindrift, located remotely. This role is crucial for training AI models, directly influencing their ability to understand and generate human-like text. You will be instrumental in teaching AI reasoning, logic accuracy, nuance, and clarity to AI models.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Crafting: Craft original, clear, and fact-checked responses based on project guidelines.
• Generating: Generate prompts that challenge AI.
• Defining: Define comprehensive scoring criteria to evaluate the accuracy of AI’s answers.
• Ensuring: Follow style and quality standards to ensure consistency.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics, Computational Linguistics, Translation Studies, Literature, or any related education to ensure a strong understanding of grammar and stylistic features.
• Experience: At least 1 year of professional experience in Linguistics, Research in Computational Linguistics, or Translation Projects, with strong skills in critical thinking and working with text in English language.
• Skills: Strong written English (C1/C2 proficiency), critical thinking, ability to work with text, and a stable internet connection.
