This role is crucial for supporting the firm’s efforts to research, evaluate, and pilot emerging legal technologies, particularly AI, to enhance legal service delivery, operational efficiency, and the overall client experience. Interns will gain practical exposure to real-world applications of AI within a leading global law firm.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Research: Conduct comprehensive research on emerging legal technology and advanced AI tools, including generative AI applications.
• Evaluation: Provide support for the evaluation and piloting phases of new innovation initiatives by rigorously testing workflows and meticulously documenting findings.
• Content Creation: Assist in developing essential internal materials such as playbooks, detailed process documentation, comprehensive training guides, and concise executive summaries.
• Market Analysis: Analyze market trends, evaluate vendor offerings, and monitor competitor activity within the rapidly evolving landscape of legal innovation and AI.
• Feedback Synthesis: Facilitate the gathering of feedback from attorneys and various business professionals, synthesizing these insights into clear and actionable recommendations.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently pursuing or having recently completed an undergraduate or graduate degree in law, business, computer science, data science, information systems, or a related discipline.
• Experience: Demonstrated interest in legal innovation, artificial intelligence, and the application of technology-enabled service delivery within a legal context.
• Skills: Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills; proven ability to effectively manage multiple priorities simultaneously; strong attention to detail; good judgment and accountability.
• Bonus: Prior exposure to AI or legal technology; proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; prior exposure to coding languages and additional specialized tools.
