3rd Shift Entry Level Printing Press Helper | International Paper

The TL;DR

• Pay: $17.5–$20 hourly
• Mission: Ensure production efficiency and quality by assisting with press operations, clean-up, and material handling.
• Tech Stack: Basic computer skills, Microsoft Word, Excel

What You’ll Actually Do
• Product Handling: Count and stack finished product.
• Quality Assurance: Read factory orders accurately to ensure correct production.
• Equipment Monitoring: Read gauges and other test equipment.
• Data Entry & Compliance: Accurately complete quality and administrative documents and follow directions.
• Work Area Maintenance: Perform clean-up functions such as blowing down the machine, wiping off shafts, cleaning ink systems, vacuuming, and sweeping the machine area.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Early Career individual with a safe and stable work history, a good attendance record, a positive attitude, and a desire to produce quality work as part of a team.
• Experience: Willingness to work weekends and overtime as required.
• Skills: Ability to read a standard tape measure, read and understand job specification cards, add and subtract all units of measurement, read and copy figures, count and record figures, and proficiency in basic shop math. Must follow all safety rules and procedures, including lock out and tag out, and consistently use personal protective equipment.
• Bonus: Experience working in a manufacturing environment, knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
