Lawn Care Technician
Hughes Exterminators, part of the Arrow Exterminators family of brands, is seeking a dedicated, full-time Lawn Care Technician. In this role, you will provide uncompromised service to Lawn and Ornamental customers by expertly evaluating and diagnosing their needs. You will utilize hand and powered equipment to apply a range of treatments including fertilizer, insecticides, fungicides, and herbicides, ensuring the health and beauty of their outdoor spaces.

A Day in the Life of a Lawn Care Technician
This independently run role is perfect for a self-motivated individual. As a Lawn Care Technician, you will:
- Manage your own service route, ensuring timely and efficient service delivery.
- Be responsible for the maintenance of your company vehicle and all provided company equipment.
- Utilize expert customer service skills to schedule and keep appointments with customers.
- Engage with customers to understand the specific issues they are experiencing.
- Conduct thorough property inspections to identify insects, weeds, fungus conditions, and other contributing factors.
- Clearly explain the determined source of the problem and the proposed course of action to the customer.
- Leverage your knowledge to draw diagrams or graphs of your treatment plan, answering any additional questions.
- Collect payments upon completion of services.
- Suggest additional services that could further benefit the customer.

Minimum Qualifications
- Ability to pass the state of Florida’s Best Management Practices exam for lawncare and maintain any state regulatory agency required licensing.
- Able to pass internal technical exams.
- Possess a current Driver’s License in the state where you work, the ability to operate a motor vehicle, and maintain a driving record consistent with company standards.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Present a professional appearance, including wearing an approved Arrow uniform.
- Able to work a 40-hour (minimum) workweek.
- Willing to work evenings and weekends as needed.
