Caregiver – Part-Time

Friendship Village, a premier Life Plan Community located in St. Louis, is actively seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Caregivers. We offer a supportive environment with wonderful residents and a caring staff.

Available Shifts:

• Part-Time: Days 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM
• Part-Time: Evenings 3:30 PM to 9:30 PM

Who You Are:

We are looking for a candidate with a strong positive attitude towards customer service to act as a Caregiver. The ideal candidate will have a genuine interest in geriatric care, possess the ability to motivate, and maintain positive relationships with both staff and residents. You should strive to consistently do your best, be creative, and work towards accomplishing facility goals. This role involves providing supportive services to multiple clients throughout the day at scheduled times.

Job Responsibilities May Include:

• Medication reminders
• Assistance with showers
• Laundry
• Linen changes
• Escorting clients to and from appointments or activities
• Providing homemaking services
• Companion/sitter services
• Transportation and escort services
• Related medical activities as outlined on the care plan/service plan

Requirements:

Our community is growing rapidly, and we are looking to fill the role of Caregiver. We appreciate you taking the time to review the qualifications. The Caregiver performs various personal care services as outlined on the care plan/service plan as necessary to meet the patient’s needs. The Caregiver will be assigned in a manner that promotes quality, continuity, and safety of a patient’s care.

• Meets safety needs of patients and uses equipment safely and properly (foot stools, side rails, etc.).
• There is traveling in this position.
• Follows all privacy policies of the Organization, Infection Control protocols, and maintains the confidentiality of Protected Health Information (PHI).
• Attends in-service training and education sessions, as assigned.
• Performs specific work duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.
