What You’ll Actually Do
• Research: Perform in-depth research on emerging legal technology and AI tools, including generative AI, to identify new solutions.
• Evaluation & Pilot Support: Assist with the evaluation and pilot phases of new innovation initiatives, testing workflows, documenting findings, and providing structured feedback.
• Material Development: Support the creation of internal documentation and resources, such as playbooks, process documentation, training guides, and executive summaries for various projects.
• Market Analysis: Analyze market trends, vendor offerings, and competitor activities within the legal technology and AI landscape to inform strategic decisions.
• Feedback Synthesis: Help gather feedback from attorneys and business professionals regarding technology adoption and usage, synthesizing these insights into actionable recommendations for improvement and future development.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently pursuing or recently completed an undergraduate or graduate degree in a relevant field such as law, business, computer science, data science, information systems, or a related discipline.
• Experience: A strong and verifiable interest in legal innovation, artificial intelligence, and technology-enabled service delivery within the legal sector.
• Skills: Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills are essential for success in this role. Candidates must be comfortable with learning and adapting to new tools and technologies. Strong attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a demanding environment are required. The role demands a professional, collaborative, and curious mindset, demonstrating initiative and a proactive approach. Candidates should also exhibit good judgment and a strong sense of accountability for delivering excellent service and results.
• Bonus: Prior exposure to AI or legal technology platforms is considered a significant advantage. Exposure to coding languages and additional specialized tools is also a plus.
