This role offers a unique opportunity to provide comprehensive administrative support to a Manager and department within a global leader in the agriculture industry.

Location: Riverview, FL

Schedule: 9/80 schedule

Position Summary

The Administrative Assistant will provide crucial administrative support to the Manager and department, encompassing day-to-day workflow management, travel arrangements, meeting coordination, and document handling. This role requires strong administrative, organizational, and technical skills to ensure efficient departmental operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administrative Support: Coordinate schedules for the Manager, including managing calendars, appointments, meetings, and conference calls. Provide department administrative support by organizing and maintaining files, preparing P-card/T&E card expense reports, and proofing/formatting correspondence and presentations using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Correspondence & Document Handling: Assist with email, copying, faxing, scanning, and handling of confidential material.
  • Independent Management: Manage administrative details and routine issues independently, taking responsibility for completing tasks on time with high quality.
  • Travel & Meeting Coordination:
    • Make comprehensive travel arrangements (domestic and international) for the Manager and staff.
    • Arrange for passports and visas as needed.
    • Schedule conference calls and meetings, including preparation of audio equipment.
    • Order catered meals for meetings when required.
  • Event Organization: Organize events, coordinate calendars, and manage expense reports.
  • Special Projects: Undertake other duties and special projects as assigned under general supervision.

What You Need for This Role

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of administrative experience required.
  • Technical Skills: 2+ years of Microsoft Office experience required (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
