Tax/Audit Intern | CLA

This is an internship at CLA, located in Albuquerque, New Mexico. What You’ll Actually Do
• Tax Preparation: Prepare various tax returns, including individual, corporate, and partnership filings.
• Assurance Services: Perform audit, review, compilation, and other assurance procedures for clients.
• Engagement Support: Support multiple client engagements by ensuring timely completion, adhering to budgets, and communicating progress.
• Research & Projects: Complete necessary research and special projects as assigned.
• Professional Development: Gain exposure to procedures, workpapers, systems, and expand industry knowledge through training and client interaction.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Early Career professional working towards a Bachelor’s degree with general knowledge of accounting principles and financial data reporting.
• Experience: Proficiency with Microsoft Windows and Office products; willingness to travel to client sites with reliable transportation.
• Skills: Willingness to learn new technologies and achieving credit requirements to be eligible to sit for the CPA exam per state requirements.
• Bonus: Pursuing a degree specifically in Accounting or Finance is strongly preferred.
