Job Description
About Year Up United
Year Up United is a one-year or less, intensive job training program designed to provide young adults with crucial in-classroom skill development, access to valuable internships and/or job placement services, and personalized coaching and mentorship. Participants in the Year Up United program also receive an educational stipend throughout their journey.
The program is structured in two main phases: an initial period of comprehensive training in both technical and professional skills, followed by an internship with a top company. Your internship through Year Up United will be located at BNY Mellon in Pittsburgh.
Eligibility
You are invited to apply to Year Up United if you meet the following criteria:
- You are a high school graduate or GED recipient.
- You are eligible to work in the U.S.
- You are available Monday-Friday for the entire duration of the program.
- You are highly motivated to learn technical and professional skills.
- You have not obtained a Bachelor’s degree.

75% of Year Up United graduates are employed and/or enrolled in postsecondary education within 4 months of graduation. Employed graduates earn an average starting salary of fifty-three thousand dollars per year.
