About the Role: Finance Intern/Support
This role offers an opportunity to support the Finance Department, focusing on critical areas such as Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, and System Implementation. It is ideal for an individual looking to gain practical experience in a dynamic global organization.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
Accounts Payable Review and Support:
- Review and process employee expenses and travel requests.
- Review MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations) expenses.
Fixed Asset Management:
- Track existing fixed assets and new asset acquisitions.
- Tag and label fixed assets for identification and record-keeping.
- Conduct periodic physical counts of assets to ensure accuracy of records.
- Monitor and ensure the timely completion of asset transfers and disposals.
System Implementation Support:
- Review and analyze robotic reports to identify abnormal items or discrepancies.
- Support the team in designing relevant RPA (Robotic Process Automation) processes to enhance overall team efficiency.
Required Competencies:
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in Accounting or Finance.
Desired Characteristics:
- Familiarity with basic accounting concepts, formulas, and terminology.
