What You’ll Actually Do
• Engage: Engage with members of the public in various community spaces and neighborhoods across Los Angeles.
• Educate: Educate individuals about critical humanitarian, environmental, and social justice campaigns.
• Fundraise: Invite interested members of the public to become monthly financial supporters of partnered nonprofit organizations.
• Collaborate: Work collaboratively within energetic and supportive team environments.
• Represent: Act as a public-facing representative for major humanitarian, environmental, and social justice organizations.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Early Career, with an interest in nonprofit or advocacy work.
• Experience: No prior experience required; paid training is provided from day one.
• Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, comfort speaking with new people, positive attitude, reliability, and the ability to work outdoors and on their feet.
• Bonus: Experience in customer service, hospitality, retail, marketing, sales, fundraising, advocacy, volunteering, or other public-facing roles is helpful.
