Get an insider’s view of the startup world without disrupting your current school or job commitments. Venture Starters is offering its Startup Intern Program for 2026, designed for individuals seeking genuine exposure to startups, founders, and investors.
This program offers auto-acceptance and requires a minimal commitment of just 16 total hours spread over 3–6 months. Participants also have the separate opportunity to pursue internships directly with startups discovered through the program.
Venture Starters functions as a public service platform within the startup ecosystem, dedicated to supporting startups in solving global problems by connecting them with essential resources, including interns and potential investors.
Program Overview
Startups regularly present at Venture Starters Zoom meetings to gain exposure to investors and, in some cases, to find interns. Approximately 20 startups pitch at each meeting. The core goal of this internship is for you to attend at least 8 Zoom meetings, observe, learn, and potentially connect with startups that interest you for further internship opportunities. Even if you only wish to observe and learn, this program is ideal.

About Venture Starters
Venture Starters is a rapidly growing global startup community that hosts approximately 30 to 40 live Zoom pitch meetings annually. Each meeting typically sees 200+ attendees, including founders, investors, advisors, and future team members. All Free Pitch Zooms are open to the public and free to attend. Our mission is straightforward: to help founders overcome challenges and build effective teams to address the world’s most pressing problems.
Internship Role (Remote)
This is a part-time, remote, non-paid internship with a single, clear responsibility:
- Attend eight (8) Venture Starters Free Pitch Zoom meetings.
Your primary tasks are to show up, observe, learn, and engage if you choose to do so.
Program Timeline
- Start: Early 2026
- End: Upon completion of 8 Zoom meetings
- Flexibility: Attend meetings at your convenience, fitting your personal schedule.
- Annual Availability: Choose from 30 to 40 Zoom meetings offered each year.
Upon completing all 8 required sessions, you will receive your Certificate of Completion and be eligible to list Venture Starters as an internship on your résumé and LinkedIn profile.
Important Notes
- You must attend Zooms specifically listed as “Free Pitch Zooms.”
- Venture Starters also hosts paid member club events; do not register for member-only Zooms.
- Each Zoom meeting is 2 hours in duration.
Ideal Qualifications
- Ability to attend a 2-hour Zoom session.
- An interest in startups, entrepreneurship, or venture capital.
- Comfortable working independently and remotely.
- Experience with events or communities is a plus, but not required.
