The Tone:

What You’ll Actually Do
• Develop technical and professional competencies through comprehensive in-classroom skill development, covering subjects such as Network Security & Support, Data Analytics, IT Support, Project Management, and Banking.
• Complete internships with industry leaders in the National Capital Region area, including prominent organizations like Fannie Mae, Merck, Okta, and Salesforce.
• Engage with YUPRO Placement, Year Up’s industry-leading talent placement firm, to facilitate access to career opportunities and job placement services.
• Utilize personalized coaching and mentorship for ongoing support and guidance throughout the program, ensuring a structured path to career readiness.
• Build essential professional skills, encompassing business communication, interviewing techniques, networking strategies, and resume development expertise, crucial for career launch.

The Must-Haves
• Background: An early career individual who has successfully completed high school or obtained a GED. Candidates must not have previously earned a Bachelor’s degree.
• Experience: No specific prior professional experience is required; candidates must be legally eligible to work in the U.S. and commit to full-time availability (Monday-Friday) for the entire duration of the program.
• Skills: Demonstrate a high level of motivation and eagerness to learn and master both technical and professional skills, preparing for a successful career launch in fields such as Network Security & Support, Data Analytics, IT Support, Project Management, or Banking.
