FCA Ministry Intern | FCA

The Tone:
This is an internship at FCA, located in Carson City, NV. FCA introduces student athletes to various aspects of ministry, helping them discern their calling and career path. This role is a learning and developmental ministry experience designed to deepen an intern’s understanding of their individual calling to ministry through direct training and experience. It is a critical position vital to the FCA mission, with all responsibilities carried out as a form of worship.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Abide: Agree with and adhere to FCA’s Christian Community Statement.
• Cultivate: Maintain a spiritual rhythm including daily prayer and Bible study to seek the Lord’s will for FCA.
• Lead: Provide spiritual leadership for staff, volunteers, coaches, and athletes through prayer, Bible study, worship, and living by example, equipping them to serve others.
• Engage: Connect to and actively participate in a local church through worship and weekly involvement.
• Affirm: Conduct yourself at all times in a manner that upholds biblical standards of conduct in accordance with FCA’s Christian beliefs.

• Background: Collegiate volunteer. Early Career.
• Experience: Prior involvement as a student athlete engaged in a learning and developmental ministry experience.
• Skills: Spiritual leadership, adherence to Christian principles, daily spiritual practice, and active community involvement.
