As a Dispatcher – Fuel Operations, you will be central to managing the critical 24/7/365 fuel delivery operations, ensuring coordination of drivers, precise scheduling, and exceptional customer service within this essential function. The TL;DR
• Role: Full Time
• Type: Rotation schedule (2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on)
• Location: Kansas City (On-site)
• Mission: Coordinate drivers, manage delivery schedules, and ensure exceptional customer service for fuel operations.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Scheduling: Create and manage daily fuel delivery schedules to maximize operational efficiency.
• Driver Communication: Communicate effectively with drivers to confirm load requirements and ensure timely deliveries.
• Supplier Optimization: Collaborate with the Supply team to select optimal lift points and suppliers for revenue maximization.
• Customer Resolution: Professionally handle incoming calls, providing quick and effective solutions to customer inquiries and issues.
• Incident Documentation: Promptly document accidents or spills in strict compliance with all relevant regulations.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate operational records and assist with document preparation for internal teams.
• Operational Decisions: Make fast, informed decisions to ensure operations run smoothly and efficiently.
• Ad Hoc Support: Undertake additional tasks as needed to support overall operational goals.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Foundational understanding and proven aptitude in time management, organizational best practices, and analytical problem-solving, crucial for operating efficiently in a 24/7/365 fuel delivery environment. This role requires the ability to anticipate obstacles and adjust priorities effectively.
• Experience: No specific prior professional experience is required; however, candidates must possess a “do what it takes” mindset coupled with strong attention to detail and clear, effective communication skills essential for interacting with drivers and customers.
• Skills: Strong time management, exceptional organizational capabilities, robust analytical and problem-solving skills, and excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively at all organizational levels.
• Bonus: Previous professional experience in dispatch, logistics, or transportation, or a working knowledge of fuel or energy industry operations.
