Your Role as a Market Development Specialist

Your day will be full of energy, connection, and opportunity as you embark on a dynamic outside sales journey. Here’s what you can expect:

• Territory Exploration: You’ll hit the road—on foot or by car—exploring your assigned territory to introduce local businesses to the comprehensive range of products and services W.B. Mason has to offer.
• Client Engagement: Armed with flyers and a consultative mindset, you will meet with potential clients to uncover their specific needs and demonstrate how our full suite of workplace products and services can streamline their operations and simplify their lives.
• Product Demonstrations & Solutions: Your responsibilities will include demoing products, sharing useful web tools, offering custom pricing, and assisting new customers in getting set up through MasonvilleGO.
• Collaborative Support: You will work closely with our inside sales and onboarding teams to ensure every new account is smoothly transitioned, well-managed, and receives exceptional care.
• Continuous Growth: With regular branch sales meetings, you’ll stay connected and supported, always having the tools and a dedicated team behind you to expand your market presence and advance your outside sales career.

What We Are Looking For

To succeed in this Market Development Specialist position, we are looking for candidates with:

• Experience in customer service, retail sales, or similar client-facing roles.
• Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-motivation and the capability to work independently.
• Ability to converse, read, and write fluently in English.
• Physical ability to lift and move up to 25 lbs as needed.
