Investor Services Internship | Franklin Templeton

The Tone:
This is an internship at Franklin Templeton, located remotely in Andover, MA. Franklin Templeton builds new and innovative ways to help clients achieve their investment goals across asset management, wealth management, and fintech. This Investor Services Internship plays a key part in the Client Solutions Center, providing essential support and world-class service to shareholders and financial advisors. The role offers a foundational experience in the mutual fund industry and financial services.

• Mission: Provide world-class service to shareholders and advisors by applying product knowledge to facilitate financial and non-financial transactions.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Client Interaction: Engage daily with financial advisors and individual investors, providing clear and accurate information.
• Knowledge Application: Apply a strong understanding of Franklin Templeton’s products, procedures, and services to client interactions.
• Transaction Facilitation: Utilize product knowledge and adhere to legal requirements to accurately process financial and non-financial transactions.
• Professional Conduct: Maintain a high level of professionalism and ensure confidentiality in all client and company interactions.
• Continuous Learning: Participate in comprehensive new hire and ongoing training programs, including weekly mentoring sessions with management.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Undergraduate student currently pursuing a degree, residing in Massachusetts or New Hampshire.
• Experience: Required to work through the Summer and the Fall semester, with training starting in June. Previous client or customer service work experience is preferred.
• Skills:
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to successfully multi-task and prioritize responsibilities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with clients.
• Flexibility to work varying schedules between 8:00 am – 8:00 pm ET, Monday – Friday, following initial training (training hours are 8:00 am – 5:00 pm ET, Monday – Friday).
• Ability to work remotely and within 25 feet of a router.
• Bonus: Prior experience in a client or customer service role.
