The Tone:

This Solutions Specialist role is crucial for enhancing service offerings and optimizing financial products, ensuring a seamless and enriching experience for all members. You will be a primary point of contact, guiding members through their diverse banking needs with a member-first approach.

• Mission: This person guides members through a comprehensive suite of financial products and services, assisting with diverse banking needs to ensure a superior customer journey.
• Tech Stack: Digital banking tools, e-services products (mobile deposit, bill pay, online banking, online account opening), self-service technology (kiosks, ATMs, Sam-e / iTMs)

What You’ll Actually Do
• Consultation: Serve as a primary point of contact for members, providing expert guidance and personalized recommendations on a wide array of financial products.
• Needs Assessment: Proactively analyze member financial needs and recommend suitable solutions, including loans, savings accounts, credit cards, and various investment options.
• Product Facilitation: Assist members comprehensively with loan applications across multiple channels, account openings/closings, and the utilization of digital banking tools and e-services.
• Technology Support: Provide hands-on assistance to members in effectively using self-service technology such as kiosks, ATMs, and Sam-e / iTMs.
• Financial Empowerment: Educate members on financial literacy principles, offer professional Notary services, and stay informed about industry trends and credit union offerings.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Early Career, High school diploma (or equivalent), with foundational knowledge in banking, financial services, or retail operations.
• Experience: Minimum of one year of experience in banking, financial services, or retail environments.
• Skills: Strong knowledge of credit union products, lending processes, digital banking tools, excellent communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Bonus: An associate’s degree in business or a related field, coupled with a genuine passion for helping people.
