About the Job: HRIS Intern at DriveTime Family of Brands

We are seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy HRIS Intern to join our Human Resources team. This internship offers invaluable hands-on experience in HR technology, data management, and system optimization within a dynamic and innovative organization committed to “Creating Opportunities and Improving Lives.”
Key Responsibilities of the HRIS Intern:
- Assist in maintaining and updating HR systems and databases.
- Support HR data entry, reporting, and analytics to enhance decision-making.
- Troubleshoot system issues and collaborate with IT and HR teams for timely resolutions.
- Conduct research on emerging HR technology trends and recommend process improvements.
- Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and confidentiality of data across all HR systems.
- Assist with employee onboarding processes, system training, and documentation.
- Support various HR projects related to automation, compliance, and efficiency improvements.

The Specifics:
- Academic Status: Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree with a graduation date between December 2026 and May 2027.
- Field of Study: Pursuing a degree in Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
- GPA Requirement: A GPA of 3.5 or higher.
- Internship Duration: An 11-week program from May 18, 2026, to July 31, 2026.
- Schedule: Regular on-site schedule, Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week.
- Relocation: Relocation assistance is not provided for this internship.
- Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in Java is preferred.
- Strong understanding of logical reasoning, including the ability to work through if/then conditions and decision-based workflows.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, HRIS platforms, and data analysis tools.
- High attention to detail with a strong focus on data accuracy.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated interest in HR technology, data management, and system optimization.
