Audiovisual Technician | Total Show Technology

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Total Show Technology, located in Las Vegas, NV. The company provides essential audiovisual equipment and support for trade shows, corporate meetings, conventions, and nightlife venues across the city. This role is crucial for ensuring that all events have the necessary technical infrastructure to run smoothly, supporting a variety of client needs. The TL;DR

• Pay: $15–$18 hourly
• Mission: Ensuring seamless delivery, installation, and support of audiovisual equipment for various events across Las Vegas.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Equipment Preparation: Prepare and meticulously test audiovisual equipment, verifying functionality before orders leave the warehouse for events.
• Event Support: Assist with the setup, configuration, and basic operation of audio, video, and display systems at client locations.
• Logistics Management: Safely transport audiovisual equipment to various venues across Las Vegas, ensuring accurate loading, unloading, and inventory records.
• Client Interaction: Communicate professionally with clients during deliveries and setup, providing basic guidance on equipment operation as needed.
• Safety & Teamwork: Maintain clean and safe work areas, adhere to all safety procedures, and collaborate with coworkers to ensure timely order fulfillment.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Early Career. No formal AV experience is required, but a strong interest in audio, video, or electronics systems is beneficial for career growth.
• Experience: Valid Nevada driver’s license with a clean driving record. OSHA 10 General Industry Safety card. Flexibility to work varied schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Skills: Ability to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 50 pounds. Strong work ethic, demonstrated reliability, and keen attention to detail. Legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Bonus: Previous experience in delivery driving, warehouse operations, or logistics. Demonstrated mechanical or technical aptitude. A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is a significant plus. High school diploma or equivalent.
