Production Planning Intern | Grifols

• Mission: Ensure the smooth flow of manufacturing operations by assisting with Manufacturing Service Orders, maintaining accurate data, and organizing production documentation.
• Tech Stack: Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint
What You’ll Actually Do
• Lifecycle Support: Assist with releasing, monitoring, expediting, and closing work orders related to buffer prep MSOs under team guidance.
• Production Readiness: Print, review, and help audit production runbooks to confirm documentation is complete and verified before reaching the manufacturing floor.
• Lot Traceability: Track the status of produced and purchased lots and prepare weekly lot trees for Quality Operations Product Release.
• Records Management: Organize and maintain production planning documentation to support audit readiness and ensure clear operational visibility.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently enrolled in a 4-year degree program (rising junior or senior) pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a Scientific field (Biology/Chemistry preferred) OR currently enrolled in a Master’s or PhD program.
• Experience: Minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Skills: Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, ability to follow procedures, ability to maintain accurate records, basic proficiency with office software (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Bonus: Familiarity with Excel (including pivot tables and macros), Microsoft Word, and PowerPoint; interest in learning about production planning, manufacturing operations, or supply chain processes.
