What You’ll Actually Do
• Build and Test: Build and assemble fabrication equipment, then perform process testing with it.
• Analyze Tools: Utilize characterization equipment and analysis to baseline tools.
• Support Production: Assist with data collection and development within the production environment.
• Manage Projects: Work on assigned R&D projects.
• Operate Machines: Learn and provide support for Diamond Fabrication machine operation.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Early Career. Must be a currently enrolled student pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degree, having completed a minimum of two years of a bachelor’s degree by the internship start. Majors in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or Material Science are required.
• Experience: Open to currently enrolled students or those who have graduated within one year of the internship start date.
• Skills: Strong hands-on mechanical aptitude, excellent written and verbal communication, attention to detail, time management, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Bonus: Programming and/or JMP experience, knowledge of characterization equipment, or relevant coursework/extracurricular experience in the field or tools.
