Software Engineer – Entry Level (Infotainment & Navigation)

About the Role:

We are seeking an entry-level Software Engineer to join a dynamic team in the Dublin, Ohio area. This role focuses on software development for infotainment and navigation systems within the automotive industry, specifically for a major automotive OEM. You will be instrumental in developing and testing cutting-edge infotainment software.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and test software specifically for automotive infotainment and navigation systems.
• Collaborate closely with a small, agile team to design, implement, and maintain various software applications.
• Work hands-on with Android applications, integrating them seamlessly into complex automotive system architectures.
• Utilize C++ for robust software development and Git for efficient source code management.

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of experience working with Android applications.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.
• Proficiency in C++.
• Demonstrated experience with Git for source code management.

Additional Skills & Qualifications (Highly Valued):

• Prior experience with infotainment systems.
• Knowledge of application development tailored for automotive systems.

Work Environment:

This position offers a positive and collaborative atmosphere within a small team. There may be occasional opportunities to visit a major automotive facility, providing valuable exposure to a Japanese automotive work environment and culture.

Job Type & Location:

This is a Contract to Hire position, offering a path to permanent employment. The role is based out of Dublin, OH.

Pay And Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $26.45 – $31.25 per hour.
