What You’ll Actually Do
• Client Relations: Cultivate strong client relationships by taking the time to understand their unique needs and delivering consistent, personalized service.
• Transaction Processing: Accurately and efficiently process all types of cash and check transactions with integrity and precision, ensuring a positive and proactive approach.
• Financial Guidance: Proactively identify opportunities to understand client financial needs and effectively connect them with the right banking products and resources.
• Risk & Compliance: Actively identify and prevent potential fraud, clearly explain security measures, and ensure full compliance with all banking regulations and procedures.
• Client Support: Professionally handle and resolve client concerns, providing effective solutions and clearly educating them on banking processes and security protocols.
The Must-Haves
• Background: High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Experience: A minimum of 1 year of customer service experience in a business setting, coupled with at least 1 year of hands-on cash-handling experience.
• Skills: Strong customer service skills including active listening and clear communication, basic math and accounting proficiency, the ability to accurately balance a cash drawer, and a solid understanding of compliance and fraud detection. Proficiency with computers, data entry, internet applications, and multi-line phone systems is also required.
• Bonus: Preferred qualifications include 6 or more months of prior teller experience and demonstrated experience in recommending and referring financial products.
