Overview & Compensation

  • Sign-on Bonus: $5,000
  • Schedule: Full-time Days
  • Attractive Pay: $25.00 – $30.00 per hour

Responsibilities

As an Amedisys nurse resident, you will be responsible for:

  • Performing skilled nursing services under the supervision of an RN.
  • Assisting patients in learning self-care techniques.
  • Assisting physicians and RNs in performing specialized procedures.
  • Communicating current health status and needs of patients to the RN and other staff.
  • Performing on-call responsibilities and services to patients/families.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates should meet the following qualifications:

  • License: Current LPN license, specific to the state(s) you are assigned to work.
  • Certifications: Current CPR certification.
  • Experience: Less than one year of clinical LPN experience.
  • Transportation: Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and required liability insurance.
