• Pay: $66000–$68000 yearly
• Team: EHS Compliance Team; supports senior colleagues
• Mission: Deliver environmental consulting services to industrial clients and ensure their compliance with environmental regulations.
• Tech Stack: Standard office software applications
What You’ll Actually Do
• Permitting & Planning: Assist with permit applications (air, stormwater, wastewater) and develop environmental plans such as SPCC, SWPPP, and HWCP.
• Compliance Reporting: Prepare various compliance reports including air emissions, hazardous waste, and EPCRA reports.
• Regulatory Interpretation: Interpret environmental regulations to effectively assist clients in meeting their compliance goals.
• Site Documentation: Conduct site visits as needed and produce strong technical writing for reports and documentation.
• Data Management: Collect data from standard sources, input into standard formats, and produce accurate reports.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s and/or Master’s Degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a similar field of study. This is an early career role.
• Experience: 0-2 years of experience is preferred, with some knowledge of environmental regulations affecting industry being a plus.
• Skills: Strong written and technical writing skills are essential; ability to perform field work and travel overnight as required.
• Bonus: OSHA 40 Hour HAZWOPER certification is a significant plus.
