About the Internship Opportunity

We are offering an exciting Supply Chain Internship opportunity designed for a student eager to accelerate their professional experience and career trajectory in supply chain.

Program Overview
This 11-week internship program kicks off with all interns gathering at our corporate headquarters campus in Minneapolis, MN for the first three days. During this initial period, you will:
- Learn directly from leaders across the entire organization.
- Gain insight into how Tactile Medical’s collaborative teams identify patients, provide care, and improve lives.
- Receive an exclusively transparent view on how we embrace change by proactively innovating products, processes, and challenging each other.
Following the initial three days, the Supply Chain intern will be paired with a mentor on the supply chain team to delve into their specific internship focus. You will gain an authentic experience by working through real supply chain issues and contributing to meaningful projects.
On the final day, all interns will return to campus to celebrate their accomplishments and reflect on the direct impact they made in helping people live a better quality of life.
Program Details
- Duration: 11-week program, with the first three days and the last day held at our Minneapolis corporate office (weeks of 6/1/26-8/10/26).
- Schedule: Full-time during normal business hours (40 hours a week, Monday through Friday).
- Site Tours: Opportunities to tour different sites and departments including Manufacturing, Sales, Clinical, and others.
- Mentorship: One-on-one mentorship provided for each intern.
- Engagement: Social and community outreach events, team building, and career development activities.
- Industry Knowledge: Gain valuable industry knowledge from a leading medical device company.

Responsibilities
- Work independently and collaboratively with the Supply Chain team on projects to drive continuous improvement.
- Prepare and gather data for Business Reviews with Key Suppliers.
- Analyze and measure key metrics for the Supply Chain Department.
- Monitor Purchase Order on-time delivery through receipt dates and update accordingly on reschedules.
- Assess supplier strength and analyze risk of critical components to determine potential RFx opportunities.
- Perform necessary system analysis, data management, and system testing in collaboration with various departments to refine the MRP system.
- Manage a supply chain project or a portion of a project through completion during the 11-week internship.
- Present project work, experiences, and learnings during the final week of the internship.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
Required
- Enrollment in an accredited bachelor’s degree program as a rising Sophomore, Junior, or Senior pursuing a degree in supply chain management, or other technical discipline.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employment sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
- Strong academic track record (GPA of 3.0 or above).
- Able to commit to the full 11-week internship working 40 hours per week.
Preferred
- Relevant technical coursework or research experience relating to the internship.
- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and others).
- Experience using software like ERP, preferably NetSuite.
Compensation & Benefits

Benefits may be subject to generally applicable eligibility, waiting period, contributions, and other requirements and conditions.
The starting hourly range for this internship position is $23 – $23 USD, although offers may differ based on the candidate’s location, job-specific knowledge, skills, and experience.
