Ticketmaster is the global market leader in live event ticketing, processing over 500 million tickets annually through partnerships with thousands of venues, artists, and teams worldwide. The Ticketmaster Music division drives the commercial engine behind the world’s biggest tours, developing distinctive software solutions to optimize ticket demand and provide fan insights. This role offers hands-on experience in how global tours are planned, launched, and reported on, serving as a critical support for the tactical execution of these major events.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Record Keeping: Maintain and update internal departmental records and best practices for global tours.
• Onsale Management: Support the management of the onsale pipeline, ensuring timely execution of ticket releases.
• Reporting: Compile and distribute monthly reports, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery of critical tour information.
• Cross-functional Execution: Collaborate with various internal teams, including operations, marketing, and legal, to initiate and execute tour projects.
• Project Leadership: Take the lead on two dedicated intern projects, managing them autonomously and providing regular updates to stakeholders.

• Background: This is an Early Career level role for a Summer Intern, focused on gaining practical experience within the live event ticketing industry. Candidates should be eager to learn about the intricate processes of tour planning, launch, and reporting for global music events.
• Experience: No specific prior years of professional experience are required, as this is an internship designed for hands-on learning. However, candidates must demonstrate a strong bias toward action and execution, acting autonomously with limited supervision. Experience working in collaborative environments, where giving and receiving constructive criticism is common, is essential.
• Skills: A genuine passion for music is fundamental to this role. Candidates should be highly curious, comfortable asking “what if?” questions, and possess a strong desire to explore new ideas. Exceptional organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and excellent time management abilities are critical for success in managing tight, fluid deadlines. The ability to listen to understand and connect with others empathetically is also key.
