Our expansive processing plant serves as the hub for many other smaller local dry cleaners, handling a significant daily volume of approximately 1,500 items of clothing requiring dry cleaning. This high volume is managed through our robust organizational processes, allowing us to consistently provide the exceptional quality our customers expect.

Position Overview

We are actively seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Garment Processor (Production Associate) to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for meticulously processing garments through various essential stages of the dry cleaning workflow. Your duties will include sorting, identifying and treating stains (spotting), operating pressing equipment (as needed), and expertly preparing finished garments for delivery to our various drop-stores.

The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment while consistently upholding our rigorous quality standards. While some experience is preferred, we emphasize that WE WILL PROVIDE COMPREHENSIVE TRAINING to equip you with all the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in this role!

Key Responsibilities

  • Efficiently process garments through all stages of the dry cleaning and finishing workflow.
  • Thoroughly inspect clothing for stains or damage, accurately identifying issues and implementing proper treatment procedures.
  • Operate pressing and finishing equipment with precision and care (as needed per garment type).
  • Accurately sort and organize garments according to specific order numbers and customer instructions.
  • Ensure all items are properly tagged, cleaned, meticulously inspected, and prepared for final assembly.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times to promote efficiency and quality.
  • Proactively support team members during peak production periods to ensure smooth operations and timely output.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in dry cleaning, laundry production, garment pressing, or a similar high-volume production environment is preferred.
  • Demonstrated strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality control.
  • Ability to stand comfortably for extended periods throughout the workday.
  • Capable of lifting garment bags weighing 10+ lbs. and rolling large garment baskets as required.
  • Reliable, punctual, and possesses the ability to work collaboratively and effectively within a small team setting.
  • Willingness and eagerness to learn new equipment operations and advanced garment care techniques.

Schedule
