The TL;DR

• Mission: To support various accounting and financial operations, contribute to special projects, and assist with business process documentation while gaining professional experience.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook

What You’ll Actually Do
• Reconciliation: Research, document account and record status, and record correcting entries as needed to reconcile accounts and financial records.
• Compliance Support: Assist with the preparation and submission of unclaimed property filings.
• Credit Assistance: Support the Credit team by assisting with credit applications and the review of credit limits.
• Process Documentation: Map and document existing business processes to enhance clarity and efficiency.
• Financial Entries: Complete various journal entries as required to maintain accurate financial records.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently enrolled in an undergraduate accounting or finance program, having completed at least one year of college with relevant coursework in accounting, business, or finance.
• Experience: Familiarity with core Microsoft Office applications, specifically Microsoft Word and Outlook, is required for daily tasks.
• Skills: Demonstrated strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and financial tasks.
• Bonus: Experience or familiarity with PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Tableau will be considered beneficial.
