About Year Up United: Launch Your Professional Career

Year Up United offers a comprehensive and intensive job training program designed for motivated young adults seeking to launch a successful professional career. This program, typically one year or less in duration, equips participants with essential in-classroom skill development, hands-on experience through internships, and dedicated job placement support. Beyond technical training, you’ll benefit from personalized coaching and mentorship throughout your journey, all while receiving an educational stipend.

Program Structure & Industry Connections

The Year Up United program uniquely combines rigorous technical and professional training with unparalleled access to internships and job placement services. This support is facilitated through our industry-leading talent placement firm, YUPRO Placement.

• Potential Internship Partners: Gain invaluable experience at top-tier organizations such as Salesforce, Workday, PayPal, and other leading companies.
• Internship Locations: Opportunities are primarily available across the California Bay Area, including Pleasant Hill, San Francisco, and San Jose.

Eligibility Requirements

To be considered for the Year Up United program, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Be a high school graduate or GED recipient.
• Be eligible to work in the U.S.
• Be available Monday-Friday throughout the entire duration of the program.
• Be highly motivated to acquire new technical and professional skills.
• Have not obtained a Bachelor’s degree.
• You may be required to answer additional screening questions as part of the application process.
